Knitting Group

Today was the first time I've attended a Knitting Group, and I'm very pleased to report that  I really enjoyed myself. The ladies who came along were all very friendly, talkative and enthusiastic about each others projects.  Luckily Violet slept through an hour of the procedings, so I was able to sit, knit, chat, drink coffee and eat cake.  What a thoroughly enjoyable way to spend an hour and a half.  :0)

As you can see my knitting is coming along at a steady pace:

I may well have treated myself to this afterwards:

I thought I'd use it as my knit-bag.

I also managed to find a few more gifts for the 40 presents:

I just love The Hungry Caterpillar - wouldn't mind keeping this for myself.

Some Lavender sachets and a pot of pencils.

And a beautiful applique teatowel.  (I just had to buy this because Violet pointed at it and said "teapotty", and it made me chuckle).
