Friday night

Tea - homemade pizza made and in the oven, check.

Knitting - out of knitting bag and positioned next to comfy spot on the sofa, check.

The evening's entertainment - DVD in machine and good to go, check.

A perfect evening all set and ready to start.  Pity the choice of movie (which was my Mother's Day present) prevented me from getting any knitting done.  Not a stitch.  No click, click, click of my needles. Nothing. This is probably due to the fact that I can't knit and read English subtitles at the same time. Ha Ha Ha.
Coco avant Chanel may have prevented me knitting my Embrace sweater, but I was totally engrossed in it.  I've loved everything I've seen with Audrey Tautou in and she didn't disappoint me in this movie either.  Lovin the Tweed and the sailor stripes, though I'm not quite so sold on the pearls.  It makes me want to let alittle more 'elegance' into my life :0)

Saturday = Rain, rain and more rain. Oooooo and another clan outing, this time to Legoland in Windsor.

I didn't used to be into Lego, but since having Violet, my eyes have been opened to it's wonders.  Sorry, I apologies, it's not what you want to hear from a 37 year old woman is it?

Here are a couple of photos of our day:

Yes, this London scene is all made out of Lego - unbelieveable aint it?

And here's Violet (and you can just about see her daddy) in her friend Thomas - choo, choo.

As well as spending a small fortune in the Lego shop on toys for the little lady, the baker in me couldn't resist buying a Lego shaped muffin tin - how cool is that?  Little muffins in the shape of Lego bricks.  Again, apologies.  I'll go now, but rest assured there'll be photos of Lego muffins tomorrow - I can't wait to use it.

Goodnight.
