Got wet through going to school.
Connie the Collie has gone home.
Helped out with Nursery swimming lessons for the last time.
Violet's playroom has been tidied, all ready for a 'home visit' from her new Reception teacher who will be visiting us tomorrow afternoon.
And, I've been trying to make a final decision on the fabrics I'll be using for the teacher's gifts.
These are my final choices......
What do you think to the colours?
I know the Pink fabric seems a little girly, but it's such a pretty colour and is soooooo bright (plus, it was only £6.00 per metre).
My plan is to make journal covers for some A5 notebooks.
I'm just hoping that my sewing will be neat enough.
My fingers (and toes) are very firmly crossed that they all turn out OK.
I'm sure they'll turn out great!!! I love the blue/green fabric. :)
ReplyDeleteI think the reception teacher probably won't have a classroom half as nice as Violet's playroom!!!

Hello Jill! Nice to see you again!! I had stopped following you to tidy up my blog list, thinking you were not coming back and have just found that you have come back - via your comment on Diane's Flamborough post! I will start following you again now!
ReplyDeleteViolet is looking so grown up. Glad you had a nice birthday - have you decided where you are going in Wales yet? I haven't been to many places there but I loved Beddgelert and Snowdonia. We're staying near the Preseli Hills next month, our first holiday in 4 years!

ReplyDeleteI am also sure your journals will be great and the fabric choices are lovely. How fabulously neat V's playroom is! might have to go tidy the boys now in shame ;) Bethx (the linen cat)
ReplyDeleteHope the home visit's going well. What a great idea for the teacher's gifts, I'm sure they'll be very much appreciated. I love the fabrics you've chosen.
