Teacher's journals - FO

The Teacher's gifts are all finished.

I think that this one is my favourite.

I totally stole this idea from Beth at The Linen Cat - it was such a great idea.  I hope Beth's not too cross with me.

These journal covers turned out so well, that I'm contemplating making some more - either as Christmas presents or maybe even to sell at a Christmas Fair.  Though I would need to source decent, but well priced journals, as these Orla Kiely ones weren't cheap.

My recent investments in an A1 size self healing cutting mat, a rotary cutter and a metre long steel ruler made the job of cutting and measuring so much easier. I'm wondering why I hadn't bothered buying them previously.

I just hope the Teacher's like them.  It's always a worry when you give a handmade gift.  Because let's face it, not everyone appreciates homemade.

I'll be on an emotional rollercoaster today - it's Violet's last day at Nursery.  Tissues and camera are at the ready.

  3. Great notebook covers and glad the card inspired you to do one, they work so well don't they? I was thinking when I did C's that I should have done them every year for B-Day thanks cards, that would have been a great record of the kids growing. Oh well. Thanks for the link- back. Bethx
