FO - Syrah Sweater

Introducing Violet's new school sweater.

The pattern is called Bulle, by Karen Borrel.

I used Rowan Creative Focus Worsted in the main, and Rowan Baby Merino Silk DK for the pocket linings.  The main colourway is Syrah, which apparently means dark-skinned grape primarily used to produce powerful red wines.  Isn't that a pretty name? Both pockets are in Zinc, which is a lovely contrast in colour.

I found the pattern well written and very easy to follow.

This was such a quick knit and I'm more than happy with how it turned out. I'll definitely use this pattern again in the future.

  4. Oh it's lovely and a fabulous colour! Sadly, my boys have to wear horrid 'plastic' jumpers bought from school with the logo on, that stretch like crazy if you accidentally put them in the drier. My Gran used to knit our school jumpers when we were at school, loved them! Bethx
