This is what a 100g of yarn looks like after Violet's had her wicked little way with it.
It'll take me hours to unravel that lot.

So what did you get upto this weekend?
Our little clan went on a couple of little adventures.
On Saturday we visited Hanbury Hall in Worcestershire.
How neat is this Veg plot?
Picking Daisies
Trying to climb into the pond
Then on Sunday we ventured just a few miles to Baddesley Clinton Manor in Warwickshire. (Aka - my new home).
It's beautiful.
Not too big,
not too small.
With a moat
and duckies.
Violet just can't resist blowing the Dandelion clocks.
Searching for the Ogre under the bridge.
Skipping through the buttercups in the wildlife meadow.
Quick cuddle from mum after a little fall (yet more bruised knees).
This looks like a pretty garden. Shall we go through the gate and take a look around?
Peonies - one of my favourite flowers.
"Mum, where are you?"
"Found you"
Time to go.
But, I'll be back,
very, very soon.
Oooh that looks like a lovely place, you'll have to invite me round for a cup of tea once you're living there! :)
ReplyDeleteThe photos of the yarn unravelling make my head feel dizzy. The knots...the tangling...argh!
I think you'll find that Baddesley Clinton is in fact my house as husband was the Duck man when we went there and had them following him around! LOL!

Lovely photos. How nice is Baddesley Clinton Manor! you might have a fight on your hands for that one is it's rather the perfect dream home, I tell you once I win the lottery.......;) (would have to remember to buy a ticket first - ha)
ReplyDeleteOops looks like Violet is having great fun.
ReplyDeleteI agree with the others that your pictures depict a truly lovely place. And oh my, Miss Violet is certainly a busy little girl. I don't envy you having to untangle that ball of yarn but I do hope Violet's knees recover from her other misadventures.
