Comfy bottoms

When you've got a derrière the size of mine, you'd think I'd have sufficient padding required to sit on French Bistro style chairs in the garden.

But, then I think, life's too short for uncomfortable bums......
Yesterday's make: two squishy, stripy garden seat cushions.

Fabric: Rivoli Stripe in Natural, £12 per metre from John Lewis.

  2. Those chairs are very hard and can be uncomfortable to sit on for long so yay to cushions I say!!! No point in being uncomfortable is there. I hope that all is going well with you and that you are having fun sitting in the garden on your new cushions. xx

  3. They look really good. I think the stripes are perfectly summery.

  4. Very nice. I do like a comfy bum. We sat in church last week watching Eleanor in a play and I couldn't feel my bum when I got up, a numb bum is no fun at all so your lovely cushions will do the job perfectly.

  5. Oh they look nice, and comfy! I consider that my nice layer of fat keeps me warm....at least I wont get hypothermia when walking on bleak moors on my own next week - ha ha. Bethx
